I can give it this much for the artists who've made their work for this. After all a lot of them did pretty good work.

And that's about as fair as I can get. Not sure why we needed a PSA at the end about organizer's personal life. We all got work to do outside of Newgrounds.

EDIT: Yes, it in fact is!

Woah dioshiba in the house what is this a Pokemom Mystery Crossover

BlastoiseNetworkYT responds:

Well hello DioShiba, it's been a while.

Now this is just one gorgeous work of animation here imho.

Mixed media, punk rock vibes, and a unique style to go with it that molds itself into something rather beautiful.

Nice.

MaxJohnsonINK responds:

thanks dio! Molds are my passion. anything stagnant and hairy.

The cold opening caught my attention, the rest of what was to come followed and my reaction went from bewildered to perplexed.

While this is something I would expect from one's nightmares there are some really interesting themes that came out of this. The animation feels like something I'd expect back when analog television was mainstream before the switch to digital and from an aesthetic point of view that adds to the surreal aspect of this animation.

You did an awesome job with this. To be honest, I'd submit this to a few animation festivals if I were you and try your luck in getting it shown.

HeelsforEels responds:

Thank you very much!

While I do appreciate the abstract animation. I do think that for what it is there is some more that is left to be desired

What I would encourage you to do is to keep experimenting like this and come up with an abstract animation that is a bit longer. Put it to some music. There are abstract animations and artworks out there that you could study and take inspiration from in order to come up with your ideas. Pictures of Nothing by Kirk Varnedoe will also have some good pointers on the abstract as well that are worth referencing to apply here.

Other than that, this is good experimentation, but more is to be desired.

kellymausu responds:

thank you for your response and critique, i kinda watch a lot of animation but only recently discovered the fundamentals of animation

Been meaning to rate this.

Awesome work. I don't exactly remember this like other people do but honestly I've always appreciated your style of work.

Izzi8bit responds:

I appreciate you.

I really like the art style that was applied to this particular animation. You did an amazing job there.

Bronksson responds:

Thanks a bunch man! I call the style 'only got a few hours, lets get this done asap' lol so super glad you can like it (defo plan to up quality in the future)

Yeeeaaaahhh I agree with ShaeGuy on the boiling lines. If you're gonna try to emulate the style at the very least you could have done that otherwise the scene kind of feels stagnant.

It's not a bad attempt in fact I would say its good, but it could have been better.

toffeescoffees responds:

k. :)

I'm not going to be the one to say this is an overall bad collab like the other guy (coughburgerknightcough), because there are some animations here that are actually good like the Ed Edd n' Eddy, Courage, and even the ATHF ones.

But I did feel that the other ones could have had more effort put into them, if it was tied together on the other hand and not done in the form of a menu I probably would have been more forgiving on this. Additionally kind of surprised with the limited selection of toons represented here given how many IPs CN and AS have put together.

That's just my take on it.

Bro-son responds:

I appreciate the more fair critique unlike... the other guy.

"No trouble?"

Awesome work on this piece. I enjoyed every moment of this.

HOwLiNG-MAdFoxHatter responds:

Thank you! : D

This should be an actual product.

ScrappyMcGritHeart responds:
